Equine Chiropractic Treatment
$100 per visit plus travel
This service includes a thorough pre-treatment evaluation including: analysis of gait, inspection and palpation, followed by adjustments and myofascial care or stretches as needed along with a post-treatment plan.
Myofascial release/stretching can be utilized to reenforce adjustments. By applying gentle, hands-on manual therapy to ease tension in the fascia and trigger points, pain can be reduced and mobility increased. When applicable, additional modalities are applied as well. These services are included with an adjustment.
Clinic Rate: If 12 horses are scheduled in a single location, there is no travel fee and a discount of $5/horse for the adjustments.
Equine Kinesiotaping: Starts at $25
Kinesiology taping provides an avenue to reintegrate the brain to body connection. Compared to traditional bracing, kinesiology taping is flexible and signals receptors of the skin and hair, allowing the brain to better understand where the body is and how it is moving. This promotes healing as well as enhances performance. Commonly used applications of taping include swelling, muscle spasm, pain, proprioceptive loss, and more.
Saddle Evaluations/Fittings: Starts at $30
Saddle Evaluations/Fittings: This service is provided for new or established chiropractic clients. Mane Strides recognizes it can be hard confirm whether your saddle properly fits your love. Up to two saddles can be evaluated per horse, including a thorough assessment of saddle fit to rider and horse, flocking and/or balancing of current saddle when applicable along with measurements and recommendations.
